This is a hands‑on, high‑impact position where you’ll turn complex data challenges into clear, actionable solutions. You’ll enhance the Bank’s data governance framework, champion data quality, maintain critical data inventories, and drive awareness of good data management practices across the organisation.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the Bank’s Data Governance Framework
  • Help define and monitor the Bank’s data governance and data quality strategy
  • Maintain key data governance documentation, including the Critical Data Catalogue, Business Glossary, Reporting Inventory, Data Quality Registry, and EUC Inventory
  • Work with business areas to identify data domains, critical data elements, data owners, report owners, and data stewards
  • Support the documentation and maintenance of data lineage for critical data
  • Monitor data quality issues, track agreed actions, and support improvements to data quality management
  • Coordinate with business areas, IT, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Internal Audit on data governance initiatives and issue resolution
  • Support the implementation of data-related initiatives and changes across the Bank
  • Raise awareness across the Bank of the importance of data governance, data quality, and good data management practices
  • Ensure data governance activity remains aligned with relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and GDPR obligations

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in data governance, data management, or data quality, ideally within financial services
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality principles, data lineage, and data ownership models
  • Experience maintaining data catalogues, business glossaries, reporting inventories, or similar records
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work confidently across business, IT, risk, compliance, and finance teams
  • Ability to translate complex data requirements into clear, practical actions
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving skills
  • Good awareness of GDPR and regulatory expectations relating to data management
  • A collaborative, hands‑on approach with clear and confident communication skills
