We’re a forward-thinking digital team seeking a talented Web Developer to join our client in Leeds. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and our development team to design, build and maintain cutting-edge web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to plan upcoming projects
- Develop and implement React-based applications using Next.js and React Native
- Build robust PHP back-ends with the Laravel framework
- Troubleshoot and debug existing projects to ensure flawless performance
- Monitor front-end and back-end performance, identifying optimisation opportunities
- Document application changes and deliver timely updates
Essential Requirements
- A minimum of six months’ commercial experience with React or a similar framework
- Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML and SASS/CSS, plus core front-end concepts
- Proven experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and Mocha
- Experience working with Docker
