We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery of BlackRock eFront implementation, migration and managed service engagements for our private markets clients across private equity, credit, real estate and infrastructure. This is a senior hire for our expanding nearshore team, with close collaboration between our Belgrade and London offices. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience delivering eFront-related or similar vendor projects and will be comfortable owning delivery end-to-end: planning, budgeting, risk management, resourcing and client and vendor engagement. The role also carries responsibility for coordinating Implementation and Business Intelligence Consultants, and for embedding consistent, scalable delivery practices across our eFront managed service offering.
We are seeking someone confident engaging at senior client and vendor level, comfortable managing multiple concurrent workstreams, and motivated by the opportunity to help shape and grow a nearshore delivery capability alongside direct access to UK-based leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end delivery of eFront implementation, migration and enhancement projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery against agreed scope.
- Build and maintain project plans, RAID logs, resourcing schedules and budgets across concurrent client engagements.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams β Implementation Consultants, Business Intelligence Consultants and Analysts β across Belgrade and London.
- Act as primary point of contact for client sponsors and stakeholders, and liaise directly with BlackRock eFront product and support teams.
- Manage change requests, escalations and risk mitigation across active workstreams.
- Support pre-sales and scoping activity, including estimation and proposal input for new eFront engagements.
- Maintain project documentation, RAID logs and status reporting; prepare and present steering committee packs.
- Ensure delivery adheres to Alpha FMC and vendor methodologies and tooling, including Azure DevOps, Jira and GIT repositories.
- Support resource planning across the nearshore team and contribute to hiring, onboarding and mentoring of team members.
- Drive continuous improvement of delivery frameworks, templates and best practice for eFront implementation and managed services.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' experience managing BlackRock eFront or similar vendor implementation, configuration or managed service projects β eFront platform experience is a plus.
- Proven track record delivering technology or data implementation projects within private markets or asset management.
- Experience managing distributed or nearshore delivery teams is a strong plus.
Skills & Attributes:
- Technical Knowledge: Working understanding of eFront's data model, configuration capability and reporting functionality.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of private equity, private credit, real estate or infrastructure fund operations and lifecycles.
- Communication: Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate confidently at senior client and vendor level. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a bonus.
Education:
BA/BSc in Finance, Business, Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience is preferred.
