Alpha Access Ltd is seeking a reliable and versatile IRATA Level 1 Rope Access Technician with practical experience in rope access maintenance, façade works, and external building repairs. We are looking for someone motivated, safety-focused, and keen to develop their skills while working across a wide range of building types and project scopes. This role suits a technician who is hands-on, adaptable on site, and confident assisting with rigging, maintenance tasks, and general rope access operations.

Primary Duties

  • Assist with rope access setup, rigging, and equipment preparation
  • Carry out external maintenance works at height
  • Support façade repairs, sealing works, and basic remedial tasks
  • Undertake rope access cleaning when required (windows, façade elements, surfaces)
  • Follow site RAMS and company safe systems of work
  • Maintain equipment checks and site safety compliance
  • Work efficiently as part of a rope access team
  • Represent the company professionally on site

Essential Requirements

  • Valid IRATA Level 1 certification
  • Practical experience working on rope access maintenance projects
  • Experience working at height in live environments
  • Good understanding of rope access safety procedures
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Preferred Experience / Certifications

  • Maintenance or trade background (painting, sealing, mastic, cleaning, minor repairs, etc.)
  • IPAF / PASMA
  • First Aid
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience on commercial or residential high-rise buildings
