Alpha Access Ltd is seeking a reliable and versatile IRATA Level 1 Rope Access Technician with practical experience in rope access maintenance, façade works, and external building repairs. We are looking for someone motivated, safety-focused, and keen to develop their skills while working across a wide range of building types and project scopes. This role suits a technician who is hands-on, adaptable on site, and confident assisting with rigging, maintenance tasks, and general rope access operations.
Primary Duties
- Assist with rope access setup, rigging, and equipment preparation
- Carry out external maintenance works at height
- Support façade repairs, sealing works, and basic remedial tasks
- Undertake rope access cleaning when required (windows, façade elements, surfaces)
- Follow site RAMS and company safe systems of work
- Maintain equipment checks and site safety compliance
- Work efficiently as part of a rope access team
- Represent the company professionally on site
Essential Requirements
- Valid IRATA Level 1 certification
- Practical experience working on rope access maintenance projects
- Experience working at height in live environments
- Good understanding of rope access safety procedures
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred Experience / Certifications
- Maintenance or trade background (painting, sealing, mastic, cleaning, minor repairs, etc.)
- IPAF / PASMA
- First Aid
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience on commercial or residential high-rise buildings
