Purpose of Position:

  • To ensure that our partners enjoy the very best support and enablement from us from a technical standpoint.
  • To work within a team to advise on and implement agreed business development growth strategies and plans that reinforce, support and drive the profitable development of the Company’s Global business.

Key responsibilities:

  • To provide technical sales support to the Business Development Managers across all product sets to ensure that sales opportunities are maximized.
  • To provide pro-active technical support, training and assistance to the Company’s dealers and Company’s product users.
  • To promote, in conjunction with the Company’s Business Development Managers, the use of the High Spec systems to Government and Corporate institutions.
  • To co-ordinate in consultation with the Business Development Managers the provision and implementation of appropriate technical support services that are consistent with the Company’s product strategy and regional initiatives.
  • To establish and maintain sound relationships with internal and external clients.
  • To provide input for preparation of the business plan and budget process.
  • To manage and co-ordinate the timely and effective resolution of call reports.
  • To identify any weakness in the delivery of technical support and training services that are adversely impacting customer satisfaction and implement corrective action.

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to support our growth in the London and South-East area.

Qualifications Required:

  • Tertiary Qualification in either a technical engineering, electrical engineering or information technology field.

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience in security systems or information technology environment.
  • Project management experience.
  • Security Systems installation experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:

  • IT industry knowledge with deep understanding of the networked environment.
  • Security industry knowledge including enterprise access control and video management.
  • Electrical engineering knowledge.
  • Operating in a resource constrained environment.
  • Tender Response and Preparation knowledge.
  • Role specific skills: Planning, Organising, Understanding Others, Working Collaboratively with others.

Place of work:

  • Based from home.
  • Regular travel and with overnight hotel accommodation are required for role including attending sites and meetings.

Hours of Work:

  • 40 hours per week (8.30am to 5.00pm from Monday to Friday - 30 min lunch break).
