Join ALPADIA’s team to make summer 2026 an unbelievable experience! We are looking for highly motivated people, who have the ability to engage and inspire young students, and who are looking for an enriching and educational experience themselves.

Your role:

  • Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of all students in our care
  • Prepare and lead afternoon and evening activities and/or Premium activities, giving thought to staging to ensure all students enjoy each activity
  • Prepare and lead excursion sessions, giving thought to cultural immersion and student safety
  • Review session plans and excursion material in advance of sessions along with corresponding risk assessments
  • Deliver the standard of quality that our students and stakeholders expect of Alpadia
  • Be friendly and approachable to develop positive relationships with students that help to enhance their overall experience
  • Manage students’ behaviour, with a judicious awareness of the need to sanction or encourage as appropriate
  • Prioritize the safety of students more than anything else, following our Safeguarding and Health and Safety procedures
  • Supervise students’ free time actively and professionally. Ensure rules in the residence are always followed and the accommodation is kept tidy. Ensure the students go to bed and wake up at the appropriate times, accompanying them, as necessary
  • Assist in the check-in/check-out procedure
  • Supervise students at mealtimes
  • Ensure you complete all additional tasks as given by the Camp Manager

Your profile:

  • Able to lead, motivate and encourage large groups of teenagers
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent organisational and effective communication skills
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Being flexible and adaptable to change
  • Display a positive, can do attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to its success
  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
  • Experience working in holiday camps or similar organisations
  • Keen interest in culture and sport (preferably with relevant qualifications such as First Aid qualification)
  • Experience of working with international students
  • Previous experience of running an activity/leisure programme
  • Experience of working with junior students in education or care settings
  • Basic safeguarding/ child protection awareness

Location of our course centre and dates of commitment: London Woldingham: – (shorter contracts are available). Typically a residential position with accommodation provided on site. We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of our students therefore all staff employed will be required to provide / undergo an Enhanced DBS check, 3x referee details and overseas conduct certificates where applicable.
