The Role
- To deputise for the General Manager as required.
- To assume overall responsibility for the smooth running of the hotel in the absence of the General Manager.
- To be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Hotel.
- To contribute to the hotel sales strategy by driving corporate and local initiatives.
- To ensure compliance with all statutory and legal requirements, as directed by the General Manager and to ensure that internal audits are completed and actioned.
- To effectively manage the performance of the hotel team.
- To proactively analyse and exploit the commercial and financial opportunities of the business in terms of costs, controls, productivity levels, competitor activity, room rate revenue, product and property development.
- To actively lead the team in all aspects of the hotel operation.
