Role Overview
Slough Borough Council is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to lead the development and enhancement of Power BI dashboards, providing critical management information for Adult Social Care services. The role will focus on delivering insightful reporting, KPI dashboards, statutory reporting, and improving data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Create management information dashboards covering Adult Social Care KPIs, PIs, and statutory reporting.
- Gather user feedback and implement dashboard improvements.
- Develop and maintain technical data infrastructure to integrate multiple datasets.
- Work with Adult Social Care systems to extract, analyse, and present data effectively.
- Support data quality, reporting accuracy, and business intelligence improvements.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as a Data Analyst within a local government or public sector environment.
- Advanced Power BI dashboard development skills.
- Experience working with Adult Social Care data and reporting.
- Knowledge of Liquidlogic and Controcc systems (essential).
- Experience with Agresso is desirable.
- Strong SQL/data manipulation and data integration skills.
- Understanding of Adult Social Care processes, KPIs, and statutory reporting requirements.
Desirable Skills
- Experience delivering BI solutions within councils.
- Knowledge of local authority data structures and reporting frameworks.
- Experience improving existing reporting solutions based on stakeholder feedback.
