About the Role:
As a Policy Wording Specialist for one of our clients, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with the Head Office underwriting team to continuously improve insurance policy wordings, ensuring they remain market-leading and compliant. You will manage the document compliance process, coordinate with stakeholders, and lead the delivery of wording updates and annual reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the document compliance process, liaising with stakeholders across the business to secure sign-off and approvals.
- Collaborate with Underwriting and Product Management teams to assess and develop policy wordings, ensuring they meet or exceed market standards.
- Draft, update, and deliver wording changes, working closely with stakeholders to achieve timely delivery.
- Lead the annual policy wording reviews, managing all associated actions and updates.
- Assist the Head of Commercial Direct Underwriting and Head of Commercial Direct Underwriting Development to maintain and evolve product wordings in line with strategic, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain a centralised log of all wording changes to ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

- Expertise in drafting, reviewing, and updating insurance policy wordings to ensure market competitiveness and regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of regulatory, statutory, and internal control requirements relevant to insurance products.
