Whether you've worked in horticulture before or are bringing your leadership skills from another industry, full training will be provided to help you succeed and grow in this role.
Position OverviewAs a Team Leader, you'll guide a hardworking team in the day-to-day operations of a busy nursery. This role is ideal for someone with supervisory experience who enjoys physical work, being outdoors, and learning new skills.
Pay & Benefits- £12.21 per hour during the initial trial period (roughly 2-3 weeks)
- Increases to £13.18 per hour upon successful completion of the trial
- Full training provided; no prior horticulture experience required if you've got strong leadership skills
- Opportunities for progression based on performance

Days: Sunday to Thursday
Shifts: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (peak season hours)
- Lead, support, and motivate a team of horticulture staff
- Organise and allocate daily tasks
- Ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard
- Oversee and enforce health and safety procedures
- Communicate progress and any issues to management
- Take part in hands-on nursery duties to support your team
- Previous team leader or supervisory experience (horticulture, agriculture, or warehouse/logistics backgrounds all welcome)
- Willingness to learn; horticulture training will be provided
- Enjoys working outdoors in all weather
- Great communication and organisational skills
- Reliable, proactive, and confident leading a team
