We\’re recruiting Hatchery Operatives to join a busy hatchery team, supporting essential processes that help keep food supply chains moving. Your Day-to-Day Duties Will Include:
- Grading and sorting chicks to prepare for delivery
- Transferring eggs from storage to incubation and hatching areas
- Maintaining strict cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Following all biosecurity and health & safety protocols
- Supporting animal welfare practices on site
What Were Looking For:
- Good basic English and numeracy skills
- Team player with the ability to follow clear instructions
- Physically fit and comfortable with active work
- Experience in production or manufacturing is a bonusbut not essential
Working Hours:
Week 1
Two-week rotating schedule (39 hours per week):
- Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday: 06:00 15:30
Week 2
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday: 06:00 15:30 (Wednesday: 06:00 12:30)
