Field Service Engineer – Automation, machinery, packaging industry
Location: Hereford / Mobile (UK)
Salary: plus Overtime pay, and Bonus
Benefits: 5 weeks holiday plus Bank Holidays (33 days total), 40 hours per week, early finish Friday, occasional overnights (all expenses paid)
Responsibilities:
- Commissioning, installation, & breakdown service of multiple types of hard and flexible packaging machinery (single machine or full production lines) on customer sites - weighing, filling, sealing, bagging, capping, bottling, etc.
- Organising own diary
- Acceptance testing (FAT/SAT)
- Providing customer service excellence – communicating, reporting and problem solving remotely and in-person
- Delivering training, advice and guidance to other engineers (both customers’ and colleagues)
- Attending exhibitions and training / validation courses as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Mechanical/Electrical Engineer (BTEC / HNC / HND)
- UK Driving licence & Passport (or full residency)
