Overview
Seasonal Associate works to achieve store sales and operational goals. They will support creating an authentic people experience both front and/or back of house.
Key Responsibilities
- Imparts the business and store environment in a positive manner that aligns with store goals and ALO’s guiding principles.
- Drive and exceed sales targets by utilizing ALO’s Flow initiatives to optimize productivity and efficiency
- Greet customers and proactively approach to understand their needs and support customer engagement
- Process customer transactions and returns in accordance with policy and procedures
- Know store goals, company communications, initiatives, new product launches and any additional information required by the Store Leadership Team; educate on guest-facing initiatives on the floor
- Leverage company tools, incentives, and strategies to support meeting store goals
- Resolve client needs quickly and effectively ensuring customer satisfaction
- Assist in processing shipment in a timely manner
- Support replenishment on the sales floor in a timely manner
- Ensure all front and back of house procedures are executed in accordance with company Policy & Procedures
- Maintain movement throughout store; perform other tasks as needed to keep store clean, safe, inviting and operating efficiently
Seasonal Associate Qualifications
- Preferred prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment
- Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences
- Aligns with and embodies ALO’s Guiding Principles
- Requires constant movement in and around all areas of store
- Ability to lift, push, carry or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder
- Ability to stand and move for an entire shift
Seasonal Associate Schedule
Seasonal, Part-Time non-exempt associates are expected to work up to 20 hours per week. Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work during the Blackout period from the week of American Thanksgiving through the end of the holiday season (January 14th).
