Role Objective
The Sales & Service Lead is integral to elevating the guest experience at Alo Yoga. You will ensure we meet engagement targets, deliver exceptional guest education, and foster a service‑led environment on the sales floor. Your goal is to create a sanctuary that distinguishes Alo from other retailers.
Responsibilities
- Sales & Service Leader
- Lead an exceptional guest experience on the floor through level‑of‑connection assessment, technical product education, and coaching
- Build client relationships daily and respond to guest needs proactively
- Analyze performance reports to strategize and deliver results, and highlight growth opportunities
- Ensure effective sales floor coverage and implement selling initiatives as needed
- Business Leader
- Partner with Operations & Visual Manager to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities
- Leverage metrics to support business‑driven strategies
- Move dynamically on the floor to assess and fulfill business needs
- People Leader
- Lead by example and inspire staff in daily operations and guest experience
- Recruit, develop, and oversee Sales & Service Associates and Cashiers
- Use performance tools to evaluate associates and provide continuous feedback
- Business Partner
- Collaborate with Community & Studio, Operations and Visual Leads for cross‑functional training and execution
- Execute company‑level operations directives, projects, and initiatives in partnership with the Sales & Service Manager
Qualifications
- Prior client‑centric sales experience
- Proven leadership skills with strong decision‑making ability
- Open to receiving and giving feedback
- Self‑motivated, results‑focused, and a team player
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Alignment with and embodiment of Alo’s values
- Proof of right to live and work in the UK
Schedule
The role is full‑time, 32–40 hours per week. Employees must be available for opening, closing, and weekend shifts, with potential coverage from Black Friday through the end of the holiday season and the first week of January.
