Almond Valley Care Home, Livingston is a 66-bed luxury care home offering up to Β£65,000 per annum plus up to 40% bonus and private medical insurance. Almond Valley opened in 2024 as a brand-new, purpose-built luxury care home. It has quickly established itself with growing occupancy, an exceptional regulatory record, and a proud reputation.
Today, occupancy sits at around 71%. At its first Care Inspectorate inspection, Almond Valley achieved Grade 5 β Very Good β across every area inspected. It holds a 10/10 review score on Carehome.co.uk and has been recognised as a Carehome.co.uk Top 20 Care Home for 2026.
The current Home Manager has spent nearly 20 years with the organisation, progressing from delivering direct care to management and leadership. They have led Almond Valley through its commissioning journey, building its team, growing occupancy, and establishing the standards and culture that exist today. They are moving on to join Monet Care, our new premium London portfolio.
This role requires a new Home Manager to protect the successes achieved so far while taking performance to another level. The challenge includes:
- Continuing to build occupancy without compromising quality.
- Developing and retaining a team that understands what good looks like.
- Maintaining the confidence of residents and families while strengthening Almond Valley's reputation throughout Livingston and West Lothian.
Success at Almond Valley starts with protecting what has already been achieved. The next Care Inspectorate visit should find a home that has not only maintained its standards but continued to evolve. Residents and families should advocate for the home based on their daily experiences.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of leading successful nursing or residential services, improving quality, growing occupancy, building exceptional teams, and transforming home culture. You will understand the relationship between quality, occupancy, staffing, culture, and commercial performance.
