Office Coordinator – Operations Team
Location: The Jolly Sailor, Davenport
Hours: Part‑time, flexible
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Family Pubs are looking for a proactive and organised Office Coordinator to join our Operations Team. Based at The Jolly Sailor in Davenport, this role offers flexible part‑time hours and the opportunity to support a friendly, tight‑knit operations department that supports our five family‑run pubs.
About the Role
As our Office Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly. You will support the full Ops Team, with a particular focus on assisting the People Manager and Finance Manager. This position is ideal for someone with previous office experience who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administration
Organisation- Managing, organising, and securely storing company documents
- Coordinating day‑to‑day office operations
- Ordering stationery, supplies, and managing uniform audits / ordering
- Managing systems access and updates
- Handling general enquiries and supporting internal communications
People (HR)
Support- Basic HR administration
- Coordinating and scheduling training
- Assisting with onboarding tasks as required
- Supporting payroll preparation
Finance
Support- Processing invoices into Sage
- Collating VAT receipts for credit cards
- Producing simple financial or operational reports
Operational & Marketing Support
- Providing ad hoc support across the Ops Team
- Assisting the Marketing team with tasks such as gathering information, organising content, or supporting campaigns
- Helping execute small internal projects
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Resilient, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Highly organised and able to manage their own workload
- Proactive, using initiative to solve problems and complete tasks independently
- Detail‑focused, with good accuracy in admin and document handling
- Tech‑confident, ideally with experience using office systems (Sage experience is a bonus)
- A great communicator, happy to work with colleagues across all areas of the business
