The Opportunity

Join our Clinical Technologies team and play a key role in developing and supporting the systems that power clinical trials worldwide. Working independently, you will develop study components in line with Almac coding standards, SOPs, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) requirements, while building expertise across key systems and tools such as IXRS3 and Azure DevOps (ADO).

You will investigate and troubleshoot study-related technical issues, carrying out root cause analysis where required and collaborating with specialist support teams to identify and resolve underlying causes. The role also includes coordinating change requests, carrying out ad hoc data extractions to support clients, and collaborating with Application Support, Database Administration, and Infrastructure teams to deliver system-wide solutions. In addition, you will support and enhance internal development tools, create solutions that improve platform efficiency and reliability, and contribute to regulatory, client, and internal audits. As a Subject Matter Expert in key areas, you will help drive continuous improvement, mentor colleagues, document processes, and implement solutions that reduce operational risk and strengthen system resilience, all while contributing to technology that supports the delivery of life-changing treatments to patients worldwide.

Joining Almac means becoming part of a fast-paced, growing organisation within a highly regulated industry. We offer a supportive and collaborative working environment, with excellent opportunities for learning, development and long-term career progression across the Almac Group.
