Overview
The Role As a member of the Quality Assurance team at Almac Pharma Services in Craigavon, the role involves providing direct quality support to the Manufacturing, Packaging, and Logistics departments.
The post holder will apply a broad understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) to ensure operational activities are compliant with regulatory standards and internal procedures. Acting as a key point of contact for these departments, the individual will offer guidance on quality standards, deviation management, CAPA processes, and root cause analysis, while also supporting batch record reviews and resolving quality-related queries.
In addition to day-to-day support, the role includes active participation in internal audits, customer and regulatory inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives. The post holder will monitor GMP compliance on the production floor, assist with investigations and CAPA implementation, and contribute to quality assurance during rework or reprocessing operations.
This dynamic position requires a proactive approach to maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring the integrity of pharmaceutical products throughout the manufacturing and packaging lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct quality support to Manufacturing, Packaging, and Logistics departments.

Qualifications
- Eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow full-time employment in the UK.
- GCSEs grade C and above (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
- Degree (or equivalent) in a Life Science or closely related field OR significant relevant work experience and knowledge.
- Experience working within an established Quality System within the Pharmaceutical Industry.

Shift information: The roles are designed to support shift patterns within APS and may be as follows (subject to confirmation):
- Shift 1: Mon – Fri 06:00 – 14:00
