Overview
Project Manager – DX Development role at Almac Group. The successful applicant will manage biomarker and companion diagnostic projects within Almac Diagnostic Services and can be based at Craigavon headquarters or the North West office in the Derry/Londonderry region.
Responsibilities
- Manage biomarker and companion diagnostic projects at Almac Diagnostic Services.
- Coordinate project activities from initiation to delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and to a high standard.
Essential Criteria
- Degree (or equivalent) in a life sciences area
- Experience of molecular science and its application to diagnosis and treatment of disease, particularly related to biomarkers
- Experience in organizing, planning and prioritising tasks (and project teams) within a high-volume workload with changing demands while maintaining accuracy
- Effective communication skills (written, oral and presentational)
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with new process establishment
- Knowledge of the life sciences, molecular oncology and diagnostics industry
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Desirable Criteria
- PhD in a life sciences area
- Proven project management experience
- Experience of product development in the field of diagnostics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent
