Almac Sciences provides integrated services from development to commercial scale of advanced intermediates and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API). We offer a range of services for small molecules (including highly potent) and peptides. Our proven track record demonstrates our ability to save time and costs through the integration of our services and application of innovative biocatalysis and technology solutions.
As part of our ongoing global growth strategy and in response to increased client demand, we are making considerable investments at our UK headquarters in Craigavon to expand our existing API and Peptide facility. This expansion project involves substantial investment in our manufacturing facility and supporting operations, including new reactors, isolation equipment, utilities, and abatement systems.
We are looking for exceptional people to join our Process Engineering team based in our Craigavon Campus. We are currently forming a talent pool for current and future vacancies for Process Engineering positions at various levels, which include:
- Senior Process Engineer: Responsible for the delivery of engineering projects, including validation completion and documentation, commissioning, and operation of plant and associated systems to the highest industrial and pharmaceutical standards (cGMP and FDA). Requires a degree level qualification (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline, previous experience within an engineering function, experience commissioning or validating new process equipment, and experience working with health and safety systems.
- Lead Process Engineer: Plays a critical role in the delivery of engineering projects, including process design, validation completion and documentation, commissioning, and operation of plant and associated systems. Requires a degree (or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering and hands-on experience with AutoCAD, along with familiarity with health and safety systems, process engineering design, and quality systems.
- Principal Process Engineer: Leads the delivery of engineering projects, including process design, validation completion and documentation, commissioning, and operation of plant and associated systems. Requires a degree level qualification (or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering and considerable experience using AutoCAD, along with knowledge/experience of quality systems and DCS systems.
