The Opportunity
At Almac Clinical Technologies, we are seeking both Level 1 and Level 3 eClinical Support and Implementation Engineers to join our team. These roles offer the opportunity to work on innovative eClinical solutions, with a focus on eCOA and eConsent solutions, that support global clinical trials and improve patient experiences. Depending on your experience level, you will be appointed at either Level 1 or Level 3, reflecting your technical expertise, breadth of responsibility and experience in supporting and delivering eClinical solutions, specifically eCOA and eConsent.

What You Will Be Doing
- Supporting and maintaining customer-facing eClinical systems, including eCOA and eConsent.
- Configuring and implementing eClinical solutions in line with customer requirements, with a focus on eCOA and eConsent.
- Performing system testing and supporting user acceptance testing activities.
- Investigating, troubleshooting and resolving system issues and service requests.
- Gathering, analysing and documenting system requirements.
- Collaborating with customers and cross‑functional teams to deliver project objectives.
- Coding configuration and data update scripts where required.
- Contributing to risk identification and mitigation throughout project delivery.
- Maintaining accurate project and system documentation.
- Participating in an on‑call rota to provide emergency support when required.
What You Need To Be Successful
Essential Criteria – Level 1
- Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK with no restrictions OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full‑time employment in the UK.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent.
- Experience supporting and implementing software solutions.
- Familiarity with SQL/PL‑SQL or similar database technologies.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall and/or Agile).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
Essential Criteria – Level 3
- Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK with no restrictions OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full‑time employment in the UK.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent.
- Significant experience implementing, delivering and supporting eClinical software solutions, specifically eCOA and eConsent.
- Strong technical expertise in system configuration, requirements gathering and customer‑facing solution delivery for eCOA and eConsent systems.
- Proven ability to lead requirements discussions and provide technical guidance.
- Experience managing complex projects and customer relationships.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
