Opportunity: Are you ready to take the lead in shaping the future of global clinical trial logistics? At Almac, you’ll spearhead our integrated Logistics Services, Temperature Services, and Customs/Trade Compliance function—ensuring efficient, compliant, and customer‑centric end‑to‑end distribution of clinical trial materials across the globe. You will oversee logistics service providers, optimise transport operations, safeguard compliance with all import, export, and customs requirements, and mitigate supply chain risks. You will drive innovative logistics solutions, including Importer/Exporter of Record, ensuring we meet international regulations and standards. Lead, inspire, and develop a global team in Logistics Services, Customs/Trade, and Temperature Services, managing resource planning, accountability, and delivery of high‑quality service. Define and execute operational strategy, advance temperature‑controlled solutions and digital capabilities, and champion Direct to Patient initiatives.

Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or significant relevant experience in logistics and distribution, including end‑to‑end Temperature Services and temperature‑controlled transport management at a level equivalent to a degree. You should have demonstrated leadership in clinical, customer‑facing logistics, including end‑to‑end international distribution, and be able to guide teams within a highly regulated environment. Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK with no restrictions or possess a valid work permit that will allow full‑time employment in the UK.
