The Opportunity: We are recruiting an Analytical Team Leader for the Almac Sciences Business unit, based in Craigavon headquarters. The post holder will perform, monitor, and accept accountability for all assigned analytical duties within Quality Control operations in GMP Manufacturing facilities. Analytical support will cover all aspects of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) manufacture. Analytical techniques include HPLC, UPLC, GC, IC, UV, PSA, NMR, KF and IR analysis.
Essential Candidate Criteria:
- Degree level qualification in an Analytical/Chemistry discipline (industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
- Previous experience in a GMP/GLP environment
- Experience in performance management
- Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory guidelines relevant to drug development
Desirable Candidate Criteria:
- Postgraduate qualification (or equivalent) in a related discipline
- Experience in method development and/or validation
- Experience leading investigations and root cause analysis
