A Cellular Pathologist in Almac Diagnostic services plays a crucial role in conducting detailed pathological examinations of cellular samples. You will provide detailed histopathological examinations of tissue samples and associated reporting to facilitate the development, validation and delivery of new personalised medicine biomarker assays.
In addition, you will have significant opportunities to participate in clinical research and scientific publications. This is an exciting position within an industry leading personalised medicine diagnostic company. The successful candidate will be a key member of a multidisciplinary team of scientists and medical personnel working to develop and deliver tailored biomarker solutions for the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology sector.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MB BCh or equivalent) with full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and licence to practice.
- Specialist training in histopathology with a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent.
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath) or equivalent.
