The Role The Production Supervisor will oversee a team of personnel within the Production area, ensuring that products are manufactured according to Almac standard operating procedures (SOPs) and in compliance with cGMP regulations, and company policies. Responsibilities include assigning tasks to production operators based on business needs and monitoring daily operations to meet departmental KPIs. The supervisor will need to maintain a consistent presence on the production floor to ensure compliance with cGMP standards, oversee general housekeeping, and review resources within the team to ensure trained personnel are available for tasks. The Production Supervisor will foster a positive work environment, facilitate team meetings to promote staff development, and provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and experience. This role also involves monitoring performance, providing regular feedback to staff, recognizing good performance, and addressing poor performance in accordance with HR policies. Additionally, the Production Supervisor will work on business projects to provide production perspective insights, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and escalate any breaches of GMP compliance or concerns to the Production Manager for resolution in a timely manner. They will also support lead investigators during investigations, ensure timely action on CAPA/follow-up items, attend meetings, represent the Production department in customer visits, and provide necessary data for customer meetings related to production activities while maintaining high standards, time management efficiency, and fulfilling administrative duties as required. ? Key Requirements Have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time employment in the UK Degree (or equivalent) OR significant relevant supervisory experience ? Further Information This role will be based on a rotational Days/Evenings shift: Week 1: Mon – Fri Week 2: Mon – Fri * each shift has a 30 minute flex to allow for handovers However, the successful candidate will be on fixed evening shift (Mon Fri ) for an initial training period before moving to the rotational shift pattern outlined above. ?
