Location: Craigavon
Hours: 40 hours per week. Tri-weekly rotation of days, evenings & nights. 8 hour shift pattern Sunday PM to Friday PM. Days, Evenings, Nights rotated weekly. Week 1 is 06:00 to 14:30, week 2 is 14:00 to 22:30 and 3rd week is 22:00 to 06:30.
The Role
A typical day for a Maintenance Engineer is far from typical. The role is dynamic and versatile in its daily tasks. The primary function of a Maintenance Engineer is to perform routine preventative maintenance schedules as per the PEMAC (Planned Engineering and Maintenance Control) system in a cGMP environment. The post holder will also be responsible for general maintenance requests on equipment and facilities across the Almac Sciences Business Unit, including carrying out calibration activities on process equipment. There may be the opportunity to travel from time to time based on business needs. This role would suit someone who is motivated, methodical, and exhibits excellent troubleshooting skills.
What we are looking for
- City & Guilds Level 3 in an Electrical related discipline (or equivalent) combined with post apprenticeship experience in a maintenance environment.
- Desirable: HND/HNC (or equivalent) in an electrical related discipline.
- Previous maintenance experience within the food, chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience of electronic preventative maintenance scheduling tools.
- Experience of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems (SCADA).
- Experience of calibration completion.
