The Role
Almac Pharma Services manufacture medicines in tablet, capsule and powder form, pack commercial drug products into bottles, blisters and sachets, and provide leading packaging solutions for medical kits, vials and syringes. We are now hiring a Technical Support Team Leader to oversee a team of Production Technicians within the Packaging Operations department. The Technical Support Team Leader will ensure delivery of business objectives whilst driving cGMP compliance, efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement. The role will support new product process validation, technical transfer activities, new equipment, and tooling validations. The postholder will be responsible for the quality, material consumption, labour cost, and process output in accordance with associated protocols and batch documentation whilst maintaining schedule adherence. This is a key role within our Packaging Team, working closely with the multidisciplinary team including Technical Support, Technical Quality, Quality, Business Development, and Client Project Management teams. Its an excellent opportunity to progress your career within our Operations Department.
Key Requirements:
- Degree level qualification in a science, engineering, or technical discipline OR significant relevant experience within a supervisory or technical management role
- Previous experience in an Operations environment
- Previous experience with routine client interaction and exposure to the end customer
- Project Management experience
- Previous experience in a client facing role
Additional Requirements:
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK
- Previous management/supervisory experience would be a strong advantage.
