The Opportunity: To lead, mentor and supervise a team of Systems Analysts (at various levels) in the efficient and effective delivery of solution design and functional specifications for Almac Information Services, ensuring that focus is on a quality deliverable throughout the entire software development lifecycle. What you need to be successful:

  • Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK with no restrictions OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full-time employment in the UK.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
  • Significant experience in a Systems Analysis, Business Analysis or related analytical role.
  • Experience of software delivery activities within a GxP / pharmaceutical / other regulated environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading, supervising or line-managing a team of analysts or related professionals.
  • A record of being able to coach and mentor other team members to get the best from them.
  • Experience of contributing to strategy, KPIs and continuous improvement of an analytical function.
  • Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate functional and technical information and ideas clearly and concisely to non-technical staff at all levels.
  • Experience working with commercial off the shelf solutions and vendor engagement.

Additional information: This role is office-based for the first 6 months. Following successful completion of this period, employees may apply for hybrid working in line with company policy.
