Alma Road Surgery, Romsey is looking for an ambitious, motivated GP to join us as a permanent list holding Salaried GP. We offer an exciting opportunity to work 5-6 sessions per week with a supportive team of 7 GP partners, 3 salaried GPs, 1 retained GP, 2 GP registrars and a large nursing team. Our culture of learning and development includes daily morning coffee breaks for collaboration. Alma Road Surgery is a forward‑thinking training practice supporting just over 16,000 patients in the semi‑rural town of Romsey, close to the New Forest and the cities of Southampton and Winchester. Good CQC rating and very high QOF performance. SystemOne Web clinical system provides efficient workflow and strong administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Daily clinics with a balance of face‑to‑face appointments and telephone triage of patients.
- Part of the duty rota.
- Home visits when required.
- Prescription signing.
- Documentation relating to patient care, including referral letters, medical reports and certification of sickness.
- Attendance at in‑house meetings, significant event audit meetings and others as deemed necessary.
Qualifications:
- Qualified GP, GMC registered.
