Alma Personnel are pleased to be working with their long-standing client based in the Walsall area recruiting for an experienced Payroll and Senior Accounts Assistant on a Part Time or Full Time basis. We’re looking for a sharp, Level 4 AAT (or qualified by experience) professional to take the wheel of their payroll and provide support to their wider finance team. You aren’t just processing data—you are the guardian of the employee experience and the engine behind our ledger accuracy.

What You’ll Own:

  • End-to-End Payroll Mastery: You’ll lead the charge on monthly payroll cycles, ensuring everyone is paid accurately and on time, every time, whilst carrying out overtime calculations.
  • Legislative Guru: HMRC, Pensions, SSP, and SMP? You’ve got them covered. You stay ahead of the curve on all compliance and statutory requirements.
  • Financial Integrity: From credit card reconciliations to managing maintenance contracts, you’ll keep our accounts airtight.
  • Ledger Logic: You’ll allocate cash with precision and keep our Purchase and Sales ledgers perfectly reconciled.
