  • To lead on the development and rollout of Allwyn’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) framework, as a way to embed DE&I within Allwyn corporate strategy in line with Allwyn’s mission to grow the National Lottery responsibly and champion its impact

  • To embed a culture of accountability for DE&I in our consumer and non-consumer facing strategies, policies and processes, partnering closely with Social Value leads in relevant teams across the business

  • To build external DE&I knowledge and capability across relevant teams and functions and its link with driving successful performance in line with Allwyn’s strategic growth opportunities

  • To support the collection and analysis of diversity data across external stakeholders in order to drive insight-led change

Role and Responsibilities:

  • To develop and lead on Allwyn’s DE&I framework and action plan, including thematic priorities such as disability inclusion and social mobility, in line with Allwyn’s corporate and commercial strategic direction

  • To build knowledge, capability and behaviours across the business on how to integrate DE&I and accessibility best practice across our consumer and non-consumer facing strategies, policies and processes

  • To work with the Social Value Director in engaging the Executive and Leadership Teams in a shared vision and sponsorship of embedding DE&I in our consumer and non-consumer strategies, and the setting of measurable DE&I objectives

  • To coordinate with Social Value leads across the business to ensure DE&I plans are joined up and support them to meet relevant targets, including the Brand & Marketing, Digital, Product, Operations, Customer Experience, Procurement, Consumer Insights, Corporate Affairs and Retail teams.

  • To work closely with the digital, technology and procurement teams to ensure digital accessibility is embedded across all digital platforms for external facing audiences

  • To lead on and manage relationships with DE&I partners where relevant, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives, on time and on budget

  • Ensure all DE&I activities are reflected within the Social Value budget, coordinating with Social Value leads for their respective responsibilities and budgets

  • To work closely with the workplace DE&I senior manager in the People team to ensure alignment and coherence between internal and external DE&I strategies and approaches

  • To regularly scan the external environment for opportunities, trends or risks related to DE&I and accessibility and advise the business how best to navigate these changes.

  • Represent Allwyn’s Social Value strategy and commitments across the business, beyond DE&I, and communicate confidently on our achievements to internal and external audiences

  • A passion for DE&I and ability to work well across different teams and functions, including senior leadership level, to deliver a DE&I strategy

  • Commitment to and knowledge of DE&I issues, legislation, policies and best practices

  • Ability to design and execute a corporate strategy, and how to embed priorities across other departmental strategies

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills to deal with data collection and insights for DE&I reporting

  • Strong presentation skills with ability to influence and inspire others, including senior leadership level

  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, willing to accept challenges, with good time management and organisation skills

  • Able to build and nurture strong relationships and partnerships both internally and externally

  • Commitment to enabling a collaborative culture across internal and external stakeholders to ensure a joined up approach to DE&I

  • Clear communicator to internal and external audiences, with good written and spoken English

  • Confident using all Microsoft applications

  • A change champion, someone who can bring new and innovative ways of embedding DE&I across the organisation. Someone who has deep experience of bringing employees at different knowledge levels on a journey relating to DE&I.
