This role sits at the heart of commercial decision-making, providing high-quality financial insight and analytical support to drive both strategic and operational outcomes. Working closely with the Finance Business Partner and key stakeholders, you will play a key role in modelling, reporting and forecasting, and translating complex data into actionable insight while continuously enhancing processes, data quality and decision support across the business.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models to evaluate strategic initiatives, investments, and commercial opportunities.
- Deliver insightful analysis, including scenario modelling, sensitivity and risk assessment, to support effective decision-making.
- Produce accurate monthly reporting, including variance analysis and KPI tracking, with clear commentary on performance drivers.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, building driver-based models to improve accuracy and forward-looking insights.
- Design and implement dashboards to track strategic initiatives and measure benefit realisation.
- Continuously improve reporting, processes and data quality, acting as a key link between the business and finance.
What we’re looking for
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a strong foundation in financial and commercial analysis.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an analytical or finance role, with exposure to business partnering or commercial environments preferred.
- Experience working with technology or product-led businesses is desirable, with an understanding of key drivers in these environments.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capabilities, with the ability to build and maintain robust, decision-ready models.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex or ambiguous datasets and translate them into clear insights that drive business decisions.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence stakeholders.
- Highly organised and self-sufficient, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
