MI Analyst (9 Months FTC)

A bit about the role…

The Management Information Analyst plays a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of business intelligence tools—particularly Power BI—and the ability to communicate complex data in a clear and compelling way.

What you’ll be doing…

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business performance tracking and decision-making
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations
• Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Monitor and improve the performance of existing reports and dashboards.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and insights to support operational and strategic initiatives
• Ensure data governance and compliance with internal and external standards
• Train and support users in accessing and interpreting Power BI reports.

What experience we’re looking for…

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI and data modeling.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with data governance and quality assurance practices.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Understanding of operational reporting frameworks.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
