We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working individual who has a passion for horticulture. We need someone who has the ability to work on their own and as a team, who has excellent communication and customer service skills.
Your role will be in the garden centre, assisting customers and as such some heavy lifting (e.g. bags of compost) will be required. You don't need to be an expert, but knowing the difference between a daffodil and a sunflower would be desirable and a willingness to learn.
The job will vary depending on the season but will include:
- Serving customers
- Plant care, watering, pruning, sweeping etc.
- General nursery duties (e.g. potting, weeding)
- General retail duties
We are looking for either part-time or full-time positions, but due to the nature of the job, weekends will be required. This could be alternated to one on, one off.
The hours we open are 9 until 4.30pm, Sundays 10 till 4pm.
Salary subject to review based on knowledge and experience.
Benefits include on-site parking.
