Job Summary

The Senior Implementation Specialist independently leads complex implementations, and consulting projects, of Allvue’s financial software solutions, partnering with clients to translate business objectives into scalable system configurations, integrations, and reporting solutions.

This role serves as a trusted implementation consultant, providing technical expertise throughout the engagement while driving successful client outcomes.

The position exercises independent judgment to solve complex challenges, influences cross-functional delivery across Professional Services, Product, Engineering, and Quality Assurance, and contributes to the continuous improvement of methodologies and best practices.

As a senior individual contributor, the role mentors junior team members, promotes technical excellence, and serves as a subject matter expert for complex client implementations.

Responsibilities

• Solution Discovery & Requirements Leadership
• Lead client discovery workshops to analyze business processes, operational requirements, and implementation objectives.
• Translate complex business and financial requirements into scalable solution designs, system configurations, and implementation plans.
• Develop comprehensive functional specifications, configuration documentation, and client-facing deliverables that support successful project execution.
• Advise clients on product capabilities, implementation best practices, and configuration options to optimize business outcomes.
• Identify implementation risks, dependencies, and solution gaps, recommending appropriate mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Implementation Delivery & Technical Consulting
• Independently lead complex implementation workstreams from solution design through production deployment, ensuring delivery against project objectives and timelines.
• Configure product functionality using platform configuration tools and advanced SQL to support sophisticated client business processes.
• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL reports, data validation routines, and financial reporting solutions to meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Solution Architects, Technical Engineers, Product Management, and Quality Assurance teams to resolve complex technical and functional issues.
• Lead solution validation, user acceptance testing, deployment readiness activities, and post-implementation stabilization efforts.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve implementation quality, consistency, and delivery efficiency through reusable assets and standardized processes.
• Client Partnership & Technical Leadership
• Serve as the primary implementation consultant for assigned clients, building trusted relationships throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Facilitate client workshops, solution demonstrations, administrator training, and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Manage complex client issues and implementation risks, providing consultative recommendations while balancing business requirements with product capabilities.
• Communicate project progress, implementation decisions, risks, and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Provide implementation expertise that contributes to client satisfaction, successful adoption, and long-term product utilization.
• Operational Excellence & Cross-Functional Influence
• Mentor Implementation Specialists by providing technical guidance, implementation coaching, and knowledge sharing to strengthen team capability.
• Contribute to implementation methodology improvements, documentation standards, reusable solution assets, and operational best practices.
• Provide subject matter expertise during project estimation, implementation planning, and solution design discussions.
• Partner with Product Management by providing client insights and implementation feedback that influence future product enhancements.
• Drive internal initiatives that improve implementation effectiveness, scalability, and the overall client experience.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex software implementation projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex query development, data validation, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and consultative problem‑solving skills with the ability to evaluate multiple solution approaches.
• Ability to influence technical and business stakeholders without direct authority.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent implementation workstreams while balancing competing priorities.
• Strong understanding of software implementation methodologies and enterprise Saa S delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation of client workshops and executive‑level discussions.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to technical capability development.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to implementation quality and continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting buy‑side investments, fixed income, credit, private equity, CLO, debt markets, or related financial services environments preferred.
• Experience in implementing Front Office and Back Office Accounting Financial systems preferred.

Experience

• 8+ years of experience implementing enterprise software, financial technology, or Saa S solutions in a professional services or client delivery environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex client implementations from discovery through production deployment.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions and financial reporting capabilities.
• Experience mentoring junior consultants or implementation specialists preferred.

Education/Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
