We are seeking a talented and passionate Beautician to join our dynamic team at Allure Beauty Lounge, a boutique beauty salon in the heart of Wallingford. We are seeking for part‑time or full‑time. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service while demonstrating expertise in various beauty treatments such as facials, waxing, body sculpting treatments and ability to do manicure/pedicure. As a Beautician, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the confidence and satisfaction of our clients through your skills and creativity.
Responsibilities
- Provide a range of facials
- Provide body sculpting (RF and ultrasound cavitation) treatments (training provided in house)
- Manicures and pedicures
- Massages
- Waxing, lash/brow tint
- Consult with clients to understand their beauty needs and preferences
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised and ready for use
- Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products to offer clients informed recommendations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional customer service
- Handle client bookings, appointments, and follow‑ups professionally
- Assist in promoting salon services and products to enhance client engagement
Requirements
- Relevant beauty training certificates are essential
- Proven experience as a Beautician or in a similar role within the beauty industry
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with clients
- Excellent customer service skills, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all clients
- Proficiency in makeup application techniques and knowledge of various beauty products
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to continuously learn and develop skills
