Sr. Director, Business Development
We’re looking for an experienced Sr. Director, Business Development to join our A-team. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting and selling across the full Development Lifecycle—including early clinical pharmacology, regulatory consulting, and all phases of Clinical Trial Operations. You will guide clients through the end‑to‑end journey of trial execution and position Allucent as their trusted CRO partner, helping small‑ to mid‑sized biopharma companies bring innovative therapies to patients faster.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and exceed annual sales targets by developing and managing a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Sell Allucent’s full portfolio of development solutions—focused from Phase I to Phase III—including clinical pharmacology, regulatory strategy, biostatistics, project management, monitoring, data management, and beyond.
- Coordinate and drive business opportunities through the sales cycle from lead generation, CDA, RFI/RFP, bid defense, award, to contract execution.
- Coordinate, drive and host client meetings and bid pursuits, providing leadership, guidance, and insights of client needs to our internal teams to ensure winning proposal/bid strategies.
- Build strong, trust‑based relationships with senior decision‑makers and influencers.
- Represent Allucent at key industry events, conferences, and client meetings to showcase our capabilities and expand market presence.
Requirements
- Consultative, solution‑driven seller who understands the challenges of clinical development and can articulate the value of an integrated CRO partner.
- 7+ years of proven success in business development within a Clinical Trial environment, ideally selling end‑to‑end clinical trial operations.
- Strong network of contacts within biotech and pharma across Europe.
- Consistent record of exceeding sales goals and securing long‑term client partnerships.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, global environment with frequent travel (30–60%).
