We are looking for a seasoned Neuroscience ACE (Allucent Center of Expertise) Therapeutic Strategy Head to join our A-team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and driving Allucent's Neuroscience strategy, integrating scientific, operational, and commercial perspectives to ensure successful capture and delivery of Neuroscience trials. You will bridge therapeutic insight and work with internal SMEs to create differentiated strategic operational solutions. This position will not have any direct reports but will have matrixed oversight and accountability of therapeutically aligned project leadership and SME resources to enable portfolio performance management.

Key Responsibilities- Therapeutic Strategy & Leadership: Partner to develop, define, and execute Allucent's overarching ACE Neuroscience strategy that aligns with our corporate and market opportunity goals across all phases of drug development. Serve as an internal Neuroscience expert providing leadership across high value opportunities. Lead the discussion around possible innovative and efficient operational models for Neuroscience trials, leveraging internal expertise across multidisciplinary scientific and operational functions. Direct development of a therapeutic ecosystem of internal and external SMEs & Partners to differentiate Allucent's go‑to‑market offering.
- Operational Excellence: Have accountability for delivery performance across the Neuroscience portfolio, ensuring studies meet or exceed quality, timeline, and budget expectations. Establish and monitor leading and lagging operational and financial KPIs specific to Neuroscience to enable proactive portfolio performance management. Lead operational governance for key clients in the Neuroscience portfolio, providing strategic oversight and escalation support as required. Champion operational innovation, such as decentralized or hybrid trial models, real‑world data integration, and digital solutions that enhance Neuroscience study efficiency. Partner with Medical, Biostatistics, Regulatory, and Data Operations to ensure Neuroscience trials are strategically and operationally optimized. Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness of delivery solutions across the Neuroscience portfolio.
- Client Engagement, Thought Leadership & Business Development: Partner with Marketing and Business Development and internal/external SMEs to position Allucent as a thought leader in the Neuroscience drug development space. Lead operational strategy development for key opportunities to support improved opportunity capture. Cultivate relationships with key Neuroscience sponsors, thought leaders, and academic collaborators. Identify new growth opportunities in Neuroscience, including emerging indications, novel modalities, and biomarker‑driven strategies.
- Leadership & Team Development: Participate as a key contributor to the executive operational leadership team for Allucent. Provide mentorship and leadership to therapeutic leads, project directors, and operational teams within Neuroscience.
- Advanced degree in life sciences (MS, PhD, or equivalent).
- Background in Neuroscience, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of clinical research and development experience with a focus on Neuroscience within a CRO, pharma, or biotech environment.
- Demonstrated success leading Neuroscience programs or portfolios across multiple indications and study phases.
- Proven ability to align therapeutic insight with operational strategy.
- Strong experience collaborating with and influencing across multiple scientific and operational disciplines.
- Track record of client engagement, operational strategy, and managing large portfolios of work to achieve commercial and delivery goals.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and operational insight.
- Excellent communicator, capable of translating scientific and operational concepts for diverse audiences.
- Highly collaborative, able to influence across functions and levels without direct authority.
