Alltorq Limited is a supplier of Industrial components worldwide and growing. We currently have an opportunity for a motivated Warehouse / Logistics person to join our team and help build an efficiently operating part of the company.
The successful candidate will have the following duties & responsibilities:
- Processing goods/admin. for incoming purchase orders
- Processing goods/admin. for outgoing sales purchase orders
- Handling inbound and outbound freight
- Benchmarking the supply base for best competitive freight service levels
- Measuring overall freight performance & budgets and working on efficiencies
- Planning the warehouse and stock with inventory controls and stock taking
- Purchase order processing and tracking to liaise with sales requirements
- Incoming goods inspection
- Planning incoming shipping plans with sales and suppliers
- Interact with sales, planning order scheduling against customer forecasts/schedules
- Setup & document incoming/outgoing controls/processes
- Setup & document RMT process
- Some manual work such as intermittent bench inspection/test process work (minimal)
- Back up telephone call support
In order to be considered for the position you will have the following key skills & experience:
- A desire to build a role in our business
- The ability to lead and motivate others
- People management experience
- Experience in supply chain/warehouse/DC environment
- Have a technical aptitude
- Independent and self-motivated
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work on their own and use initiative to manage shipping budgets & get best service for our customers meeting deadlines
- Computer literate
- Knowledge/experience of import/export and customs clearance processes
- A forklift licence is preferred
Working hours are: Monday to Friday 8.30am β 5.00pm
Salary: Neg. Β£30 - Β£35,000+ depending on experience
Benefits: On-site parking / 25 days holiday per annum / Pension scheme after 3 months
