We are currently seeking a skilled and driven Project Manager to join our team. Reporting to the General Manager of PMO, this role is responsible for overseeing all phases of project execution — from planning through completion — including managing budgets, schedules, resources, and stakeholder communications to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. While working in the field and on site, Project Managers are eligible for a Daily Adder on top of their salary, equating to 25% of your daily rate. Shifts vary but can be as long as 21 days on and 7 days off.

Pay: $150,000 – $175,000 annually

Responsibilities
  • Promote and embody a positive safety culture aligned with our safety mission statement.
  • Plan and schedule projects to ensure successful execution within budget, schedule, and contractual scope.
  • Develop detailed execution plans and manage all related project documentation.
  • Execute projects in accordance with established budgets, timelines, and contract requirements.
  • Monitor and control project costs; forecast financial outcomes.
  • Manage risks, changes, and contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
  • Oversee contract management and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Manage client and stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal departments to support project delivery.
  • Lead project close‑out activities and ensure proper documentation and handover.

This role is an on‑site position.

Skills & Abilities
  • Willingness to travel and work in various locations across the business, with flexibility to relocate temporarily based on project and operational needs.
  • Experienced in managing construction projects, including scope breakdown, estimating, scheduling, and proposal development.
  • Proficient in project controls, contract and change management, and vendor/subcontractor coordination.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Capable of creating and editing project documents, materials, and presentations.
  • Strong grasp of project management standards, controls, change and contract management.
  • Ability to interpret bid documents, specifications, and drawings to break down project scope for accurate planning and estimation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, vendors, and subcontractors simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, and standard business applications.
  • Flexible and responsive to shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Adaptable to shifting priorities and deadlines with a high sense of urgency.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
Education, Training & Experience
  • Post‑secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation is considered an asset.
  • Red Seal Powerline Technician certification and relevant industry experience are considered assets.
  • Experience executing electrical transmission and distribution projects is an asset.
