We have (12 month) year-in-industry placement opportunities starting in summer 2026 for IT undergraduates with a keen interest in Customer Technical Support (including hardware, software and networking). If you have an interest in solving technical issues coupled with a customer-centric approach, then this opportunity is a perfect fit for you.
Please note we have one position available in our Belfast office and one position in our Derry/Londonderry Office.
Key responsibilities:- Optimize employee satisfaction by providing a support service experience that employees find welcoming and appealing.
- Deliver support services that employees are eager to use - support includes personalized configuration, troubleshooting, problem resolution and proactive technical advice.
- Support mobility devices such as company mobile phones (Android, iOS), iPad.
- Provide application and hardware support for all managed desktops (Windows/OSX), printers, network connectivity, VPN etc. including lifecycle management of workstations.
- Provide personalized incident management for ticket creation, engineering engagement, escalation and direction – be a single point of contact for communication status.
- PC – Windows and Apple Mac
- Mobile phone – Android/iOS/Windows
- Conferencing – video/audio with emphasis on Zoom and Microsoft Teams
- Collaboration tools – Teams, SharePoint Online

- Expecting to complete your second year of a computing-related degree course by the end of June 2026 (or the third year for relevant IT degrees).
- You will have achieved 2.1 classification or higher in your course modules to date. Please include a full list of module marks from your first year and any current year to date. Failure to do so will result in the withdrawal of the application.
- As part of this role, you will be required to be in your assigned Office 5 days a week.
- A clean driving license and access to a vehicle is desirable but not essential.
This job does not have supervisory duties.
