Your role in the team involves supporting the Private Asset portfolio by producing accurate reporting, building Power BI dashboards, and delivering data-driven insights. The role includes analyzing performance trends, maintaining high-quality datasets, and enhancing reporting processes using SQL, data modeling, and automation tools.
The analyst works closely with Investments and Finance teams to provide clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision making across the private market’s portfolio.
Key responsibilities:- Produce recurring and ad-hoc Private Asset portfolio reports with high accuracy and consistency.
- Build, optimise, and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualise performance, trends, and exceptions.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and enrichment to maintain audit-ready datasets.
- Analyse portfolio performance, quantify key drivers, and prepare business-ready insights.
- Integrate data across performance, cash flows, valuations, and pipeline sources to inform analysis.
- Develop clear written and visual summaries that communicate private markets financial narratives.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows and improve reporting efficiency.
- Support stakeholders across Investments and Finance with data, insights, and analysis.
- Prepare materials for presentations, leadership updates, and decision-making forums.

Qualifications:- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in financial analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, including creating data models and interactive dashboards.
- Prior exposure to Private Assets platforms or tools, such as eFront, Burgiss, iLevel, Black Mountain, or similar systems.
- Experience delivering analysis or reporting to finance, investment, or senior leadership stakeholders in a corporate or financial services environment.
- Experience automating reporting processes using Power Query, Python, VBA, or workflow automation tools.
- Experience developing portfolio narratives, investment insights, or performance commentary for business audiences.
- Practical experience using Microsoft Copilot or AI-enabled productivity tools to support reporting, analysis, or documentation.
