Your role in the team:
We are seeking a Power Platform Engineer to support the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and security of our Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Copilot Studio ecosystem. In this role, you will assist with creating & managing environments, implementing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, and supporting low-code applications and AI agents. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to ensure citizen developer initiatives are secure, performant, and aligned with company standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Platform Maintenance: Support daily administration and security enforcement across Power Apps, Power Automate, Dynamics 365, and Dataverse.
- Environment Support: Help maintain environment strategies using Managed Environments to ensure proper data segregation and controlled deployments.
- Copilot Studio Admin: Assist with the administration of Copilot Studio, including monitoring AI agent deployments and user licenses.
- DLP Enforcement: Apply standard connector governance and DLP policies to prevent data exfiltration across integrated systems.
- ALM Assistance: Participate in basic Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) by moving solutions across development, test, and production environments.
- Capacity Tracking: Monitor Dataverse storage, AI Builder credits, and Copilot Studio message consumption.
- Health Monitoring: Conduct routine audits for unmanaged solutions and generate basic platform usage analytics reports.
Essential Skills:
- All applicants must demonstrate they have a legal right to work in the UK for employment at Allstate. Allstate is not providing sponsorship for this vacancy.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience administering or developing within Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365 environments.
- Hands-on experience using the Power Platform Admin Center, configuring Dataverse, and managing security roles.
- Exposure to building, testing, or deploying AI agents and configuring simple knowledge sources.
- Ability to run and modify basic PowerShell scripts for routine administrative tasks.
Desirable Skills:
- Certifications in Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900) or Power Platform.
- Understanding data privacy concepts and data masking.
- Familiarity with building Flows, Apps & Agents in Power Platform.
- Good communication skills to help troubleshoot issues for citizen developers.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This role does not have supervisory duties.
