Your role in the team:
The Architecture Compute and Engineering organization provides a transformative platform ecosystem with capabilities that empower end users and digital product teams to innovate seamlessly and drive growth through the Consumer Connected Cloud mission. This ecosystem aims to offer a frictionless experience for our user community.
As a Lead Digital Product Manager in the ACE organization, you'll be a player/coach who manages multiple products across a platform, defining, delivering, and managing their lifecycle to meet customer needs and align with strategic goals. You will lead and coach a team of Digital Product Managers to advance product strategy and maturity. This role requires strategic thinking, technical understanding, and business acumen.
Key responsibilities:
- Product Portfolio Leadership: Manage the strategic direction of your product family, including vision, strategy, and roadmap development.
- Market Research: Conduct research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch digital products.
- Roadmap Management and Alignment: Facilitate forums for roadmap alignment supporting strategic initiatives.
- Ongoing Management: Optimize team practices, write and groom stories, prioritize, and manage backlogs.
- Performance Monitoring: Define and monitor product metrics, making data-driven decisions.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate progress and updates to stakeholders and partners.
- Vendor Management: Engage with external vendors and internal sourcing leaders strategically.
- Budget Management: Forecast costs, manage budgets, and develop operational strategies.
- Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze feedback for continuous improvement.
- Impact and Influence: Drive maturity in product management practices and influence leadership.
- Grow Talent: Develop team skills and foster growth within the Digital Product Management practice.
Essential Skills: Candidates must demonstrate the legal right to work in the UK, with at least 5 years of product management experience, 2 years of leadership in cross-functional teams, proficiency in Agile methodologies, understanding of digital development processes, and strong data analysis skills.
Desirable Skills: Experience in End User, Network, Compute, or Platform as a Service, and knowledge of networking, identity management, infrastructure as code, automation, data analytics, or cloud solutions are preferred.
