Your role in the team: We are looking for an engaged and enthusiastic Service Engineer to join our growing Collaboration & Conferencing Team within the Digital Workplace Solutions organization. The role of the Collaboration & Conferencing Team is to provide our users with a modern suite of end-user productivity and collaboration tools to support them in the execution of their role as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of collaboration and conferencing solutions such as Microsoft Teams, Mural, and Zoom Video Conferencing.
- Engineer, configure, and optimize Microsoft Teams services, policies, and collaboration capabilities.
- Participate and assist with the integration of VDI systems for collaboration and conferencing solutions.
- Develop and automate administrative and operational workflows using Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell.
- Build integrations between Teams and SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and approved third party applications.
- Leverage Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 to improve productivity, documentation, and technical workflows.
- Participate in engineering rollout of new Teams and Mural features, ensuring readiness, compatibility, and governance.
- Analyze service telemetry and health using Microsoft 365 admin tools and propose engineering improvements for reliability and performance.
- Support Teams devices such as meeting room systems, Intune registered devices and certified peripherals.
- Document engineering standards, deployment patterns, and operational processes.
- Partner with Security, Identity, and Collaboration Engineering teams to ensure Teams configurations meet organizational guidelines.
Essential Skills:

- 3 years or more of experience engineering or configuring Microsoft Teams in a cloud environment.
- Experience with the Teams Admin Center and Teams configuration patterns.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Graph API for automation, reporting, or integration engineering.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 and its use in administrative workflows.
- Basic to intermediate PowerShell skills for scripting and automation.
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working in enterprise scale environments with a focus on cloud collaboration, governance, and service reliability.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-700, MS-102, SC-300, Teams Engineer Expert, or similar).
Travel requirements: Flexibility required to meet business needs.
On-call Requirements: Flexibility to support On-Call when required.
