- Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting, regulatory tracking, data reconciliation, and operational processes across TORC, then design and deliver practical solutions.
- Support agile delivery by contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and continuous improvement of the team's delivery practices.
- All applicants must demonstrate they have a legal right to work in the UK for employment at Allstate. Allstate is not providing sponsorship for this vacancy.
- A minimum of 3+ years in hands-on Python development experience, including scripting, automation, data manipulation, API integration, error handling, testing, and maintainable code design.
- Minimum of 1 year demonstrated experience coaching or mentoring engineers, with evidence of improving individual or team technical capability across full-stack, microservices, or risk product delivery.
- Professional engineering experience building data products, dashboards, automations, reporting solutions, or analytics capabilities in an enterprise environment.
- Experience creating dashboards and reporting products that translate complex data into clear, usable insight for leadership, operational teams, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or similar enterprise analytics platforms, including datasets, pipelines, workspaces, semantic models, and report publication processes.
- Strong understanding of data quality, data validation, access considerations, documentation, and operational support practices for production reporting and automation solutions.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to understand business problems, define requirements, challenge assumptions, and deliver solutions that are practical, reliable, and easy to use.
- Comfort working in an agile delivery environment, contributing to planning, estimation, refinement, demos, and iterative improvement of team products.
- Experience working in risk, compliance, controls, regulatory, audit, technology operations, security, or enterprise reporting environments.
- Experience automating evidence collection, task tracking, regulatory follow-ups, data reconciliation, reporting refreshes, or workflow handoffs using Python or similar tooling.
