At Allstate, great things happen when our people work together to protect families and their belongings from life's uncertainties. For more than 90 years, our innovative drive has kept us a step ahead of our customers' evolving needs. Your role in the team Core Engineering & Platforms (CEP) provides foundational capabilities, applying a disciplined Engineering first mindset, and advancing scalable, reusable Platforms across the ecosystem.

This role ensures critical priorities do not operate in silos, acting as the connective tissue, bringing cohesion across CEP by connecting work, signals, and outcomes across a wide set of product domains without introducing additional friction. Streamlining how CEP engages customers across products and services while cultivating strategic vendor partnerships that span multiple technology domains. The role elevates how CEP communicates its strategy and impact-curating clear, enterprise-relevant narratives for topics such as OKR progress, Operational Risk and Return Committee, technology execution review and board-level discussions that reflect plan of intent, progress to outcomes, and value delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead coordinated planning and execution at scale - Lead Planning & Integration across CEP in environments with a high number of distributed product teams, partnering with digital products teams to ensure backlogs are sequenced when needed and consumable across domains.
  • Accelerating delivery on critical outcomes.
  • Strengthen product partnership and customer signal curation - Partner with Digital Product Managers to support how the voice of the customer is captured, shaped, and reflected in CEP priorities.
  • Streamline engagement to reduce repeated asks and fragmented input across initiatives.
  • Elevate workforce planning and future readiness - Align workforce planning and capability development by aligning future skill needs and organizational capacity to expected demand.
  • Align strategic vendor engagement to enterprise priorities - Support engagement and alignment with key strategic external partners against ATS priorities.
  • Shapes a clear consistent strategic narrative that connects directly to enterprise value - Curate clear, consistent storytelling of CEP strategy, progress, and impact across OKR tracking, ORCC, and board-level materials.

Essential Skills:

  • All applicants must demonstrate they have a legal right to work in the UK for employment at Allstate.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience leading strategic initiatives within complex technology driven organisations.
  • A minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience developing and implementing enterprise technology, digital transformation, business strategy, or operating model roadmaps.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience leading teams of managers and/or individual contributors.
  • Experience working directly with technology, product, engineering, architecture, or business leadership teams to prioritise roadmaps, allocate resources, govern portfolios and deliver strategic initiatives.
  • Evidence of delivering measurable business outcomes through strategic planning or transformation initiatives.
  • Experience leading large scale organisational change or transformation programs.

Desirable Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Experience within financial services, insurance, consulting, technology, or other regulated industries.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has supervisory duties.
