The ADS team supports the vehicle service contract segment and offers a unique opportunity to see the business from start to finish. Team members will learn about our products, sales channels, and claim handling; see how customer transactions flow into the accounting records and financial statements; and get exposure to the service contract and P&C insurance industries. The role will participate in the monthly close, preparing account reconciliations and coordinating with internal and external providers. The analyst will have daily interaction with the business unit and suppliers to assure transactions are completed and appropriately recorded.### **Key responsibilities*** Participating in process improvement projects* Implementing, reporting, and communicating the impact of business and accounting related initiatives on assigned processes and financial statements* Preparing quarterly/annual statutory and/or GAAP financial statements and schedules/exhibits.* Preparing analytical schedules, analyzing variances, and providing analytical support based on internal customer requests Working collaboratively within the team and across the department* Monthly close and related processing and analysis (e.g. account analysis, preparation of journal entries)* Preparing and analyzing account reconciliations### **Essential Skills*** All applicants must demonstrate they have a legal right to work in the UK for employment at Allstate.
