Validation & Verification Engineer

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Validation & Verification Engineer based in Milton Keynes to join one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.

Summary of the Validation & Verification Engineer role

Salary: Competitive

Location: Milton Keynes

Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm

Responsibilities of the Validation & Verification Engineer

1. Organise, direct, and perform Verification and Validation testing of products.
2. Run entire validation and verification projects from inception through to release.
3. Create test plans and schedules.
4. Design and prepare electro-mechanical fixtures for DVT, environmental validation, and other ATE systems.
5. Prepare detailed statistical analysis of results and reporting as required.
6. Provide first-line support of the test systems.
7. Understand concepts of PFMEA, DFMEAs, control plans, and IATF requirements.

Requirements for a successful Validation & Verification Engineer

1. HND or equivalent in electronics.
2. Methodical with a structured approach to time management and task execution.
3. Experience in a test/test design environment.
4. Product/component testing experience.
5. Experience in qualification/environmental/validation testing.
6. PCB design and layout skills.
7. Good attention to detail.
8. Strong IT skills with proficiency in Word and Excel.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
