Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Hours: 37.5 hours Monday – Thursday 8.15am-4.45pm Friday – 8.15am-1.45pm
Responsibilities of the Semi Skilled Mechanical Fitter
- Pressure testing of various pump components in line with production schedule
- Fettling of small and large pump components and impellers using a variety of handheld power tools
- Use overhead cranes and forklift trucks to move large and heavy items
- Loading/unloading of vehicles
- Sub-assembly of components, fettling or painting process
Requirements for a successful Semi Skilled Mechanical Fitter
- Experience working in a similar mechanical assembly environment
- Experience in working to production deadlines
- Pressure testing experience
- Experience in reading engineering drawings, manufacturing and quality check lists
- Experience in completion of manufacturing and check list paperwork
- Qualified overhead crane user and forklift user
